This image is related to the Moon of the Tarot. The wise salmon is an oracle, and its flesh gives understanding of the tongues of beasts and birds. It is one of the transformations of the bard Taliesin as he fled through the shapes of the world, and one of the avatars of Vishnu. The image is of wisdom from the unconscious, and secrets, intuition and illusion.
